Richard Martin met Wilkins when he was a frequent guest on Studio 10, the morning talk show he was hosting on the CBS affiliate in Tampa Bay. Wilkins brings with him considerable experience in both the entertainment and the financial industries. In addition to his television experience, Tim has been a headlining comedian in clubs, colleges, cruise lines and a favorite choice for concert promoters, touring as the opening act for musical legends such as; Earth, Wind & Fire, The Righteous Brothers, Aretha Franklin, Olivia Newton John, Paul Anka, Julio Iglesias, and many more. He promotes "clean comedy" and most recently released his 2nd CD, “Tim Wilkins-Live @Sidesplitter’s”, which was considered for a 2008 Grammy award for "Comedy Album of the Year."
Financially Wilkins worked in the venture capital arena assisting in mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, preparing corporate filings, and overseeing investor and public relations.
